Grange to host contradance
FARMINGTON — There will be a contradance at 8 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, at the Farmington Grange, 124 Bridge St.
John McIntire will be the caller, Dromore Bay will provide live music. Cost is $6 per person, $5 for students and $15 for families. No partners necessary; beginners welcome.

Parish to hold storytelling swap
FARMINGTON — A storytelling swap will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 17, downstairs at St. Joseph’s Parish Hall, 130 Quebec St.
This event is free and open to the public. Tellers and listeners welcome. No storytelling experience necessary.

Skeet shooting at fish and game
WATERFORD — Recreational skeet shooting is held at 1 p.m. Saturdays and 9 a.m. Thursdays at the Waterford Fish & Game Association, Route 118.
The public is welcome and should bring a shotgun and ammo. The cost is $3 a round of 25 targets.
