RUMFORD — Scarlett May Pingree is the first baby born at Rumford Hospital in 2019, arriving at 2:15 a.m. Sunday.
She is the first child of Tyler Pingree and Cheyenne May of Rumford and weighed 8 pounds and measured 19½ inches.
The family received a bag filled with newborn essentials and a onesie with the hospital logo and phrase, “Rumford Hospital First Baby 2019.”
Pingree works for the U.S. Postal Service in Mexico and May works as a secretary for Rumford Hospital’s Therapy Services.
Scarlett’s maternal grandmother is Patty May of Mexico, and paternal grandparents are Ellsworth and Stephanie Pingree of Rumford, and Jen Marston of Rumford.
