Pelletier’s Karate Academy wishes to congratulate Zach Lampron, Michelle Lampron, and Jack Anderson for achieving the rank of Shodan, first degree black belt. This achievement is the result of more than six years of training by each. To receive their black belts, they demonstrated proficiency in traditional kata (the forms and patterns of karate), kobudo (traditional Okinawan weapons), self-defense, sparring, and knowledge of the art as well as demonstrating the ability to teach.

Pelletier’s Karate Academy wishes to congratulate Tanner Cummings for achieving the rank of Junior Black Belt. To reach this level, Tanner has been studying karate for over three years and was tested for proficiency in traditional kata (the forms and patterns of karate), kobudo (traditional Okinawan weapons), self-defense, sparring, and knowledge of the art.
