Connor Savage, 22, of New Sharon, was driving a 2008 Ford Ranger truck in the right lane Friday afternoon on Wilton Road in Farmington, and turned the truck to the right to avoid a 2017 Ford pickup truck, operated by Jeffrey Strunk, 56, of Eustis that had gone around a stopped vehicle waiting to turn left into the Maine Smoke Shop, police said. The Ranger, owned by Motor Supply Co., hit built-up ice on the edge of the sidewalk, which acted like a ramp and sent the truck slightly airborne into a snow-covered retaining wall. The truck rolled onto its roof in the road, Farmington police officer Darin Gilbert said. Savage received a slight cut on his hand but was not taken to a hospital. (Sun Journal photo by Donna M.
