Meets Thursday, Feb. 28, from 6 to 7:30 p.m.  Registration fee: $14.

• Essential Oils / Detoxify your Home – Home should be the safest place on earth, but sometimes it really is a hotbed for disease-causing bacteria and inflammation-inducing toxins. We will talk about the impact of these toxins on our bodies and give tips for detoxing your home with essential oils to build a healthy environment for you, your family and your pets. Leave with at least two DIY items that you can put to use right away in your home, and with recipes for many more. Meets Thursday, Feb. 28, from 6 to 8 p.m. Registration fee: $16.

• Customer Service and Retail Fundamentals – Give your resume a competitive edge with employers by improving your customer service skills.  This intensive training will give you an opportunity to earn nationally recognized retail and customer service credentials, as well as a WorkReady certificate and digital literacy skills. Presentations will be by local employers who also will participate in a mock interview process. Classes are Mondays through Thursdays, March 4 through 28, from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Registration fee: $250. Payment plans are available. Meets Mondays, March 3 and 11, from 6 to 8 p.m. Registration fee: $25.

• Lip and Hand Balm – Pamper your skin by learning how to make lip balm and solid hand balm using oils, flavors or scents and optional color. Raw materials and balm tubes will be provided for close to a dozen lip balms and three to five hand balms.  Meets Thursday, March 7, from 6 to 8 p.m. Registration fee: $25.

In addition to these classes, RSU 16 can help people find a new career, prepare for college, or finish high school.
