AUBURN — The city will celebrate its 150th birthday on Friday at more than 30 “cake sites.”
From city buildings such as Auburn Hall, the public library and Ingersoll Turf Facility, to churches, businesses and historic sites, each location will serve free cake provided by BJ’s in Auburn. There will be gluten-free options.
Some sites will have free entertainment, including live music and tours, story time, public skating, model trains and bounce houses.
A special ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in the Council Chamber at Auburn Hall. Mayor Jason Levesque, city councilors and staff, special guests and representatives of their political delegation will be present. All are welcome to attend.
A full list of locations, activities and an interactive map can be found at auburn150.com.
