OXFORD — Norway author Patricia Probert Gott will be signing her 20th book, “Roller Rink Rules,” from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23 and Saturday, March 2, at Crystal Spring Farm Stand, 1413 Main St.

Gott’s memoir “Roller Rink Rules” chronicles her owning and managing the roller skating rink in Oxford for 24 years, from March 1981 to August 2005. Along with the narrative, this book includes an eclectic collection of 50 old photos and newspaper clippings taken of employees, skaters and various events they celebrated over the years, including birthday parties, Christmas with Santa, Easter and the roller rabbit, the all-night slumber parties and outside skate park.

Many will remember the roller hockey teams that excelled and dominated the Maine league for 10 years; some will recall the all-night, girls only, pajama parties Folks who are, or were, a roller-skater, or are an impending roller rink owner will get a lot out of this memoir.
