Ronald A. Marsters

PORTLAND – Ronald Marsters, 64, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes on Jan. 30, 2019. He was born in Lewiston. He was the second son of Arthur L. and Beverly Babb Marsters of Canton. Ronald attended Canton elementary and Dirigo High School, Dixfield, graduating with the class of 1973. He played basketball throughout his school years and enjoyed working with local area children teaching them the skills in basketball. Ronnie loved sports and was an avid fan of the New England Patriots, Boston Red Sox, and the Celtics. Ronnie was an individual with many talents. He was a skilled carpenter as was obvious by the homes he remodeled. He worked at the International Paper mill in Jay and later was an employed as a tin knocker for Bath Iron Workss until his retirement in 2013.Ronald is survived by his brother, Doug, wife Paula, Scott, wife Denise, of Canton, Kevin of South Carolina; sisters, Kelly her fiance, Ernie, of Peru, Terry of Livermore, and Barbara of Dixfield. He had many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father; sister, Julie; and brother, Timmy. He will b remembered for his sense of humor, sweet soul, and will be missed by all who knew him. Graveside services will be held at the families discretion.
