AUBURN – Geraldine “Jerry” Dunn, 72, of Auburn passed away on Feb. 23, 2019, at the John F. Murphy Home, where she had lived for the past 23 years. She was born in Lewiston on July 4, 1946, the daughter of Adelbert and Mable Buswell Dunn. Jerry made a lot of friends at the John F. Murphy Home and at the Social Learning Center, where she went every day. Jerry loved to paint pictures and she was very good at it. She loved to go to the ocean and animal parks. She enjoyed eating out at Denny’s and Dunkin Donuts. Jerry loved Elvis. She leaves behind a half sister, Flora Pressley of Tennessee, a sister, Frances Cummings of Connecticut, two brothers, Adelbert (Del) Dunn and friend Penny Overton of New Gloucester and James Dunn and wife Carol of Buckfield; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by her parents; grandparents; aunts and uncles; and a half brother, Perley Dunn.

Jerry’s family would like to thank all the staff at the John F. Murphy Home and the Social Learning Center, especially Diane C., Carol C., Danielle G. and Marge D.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, May 30 at 1 p.m. at Damon Cemetery in Buckfield.
