WEST PARIS — The Paris Fire Department Auxiliary will sponsor a supper at 5 p.m. Saturday, March 2, at the Paris Fire Station, Western Avenue. On the menu will be corned beef and cabbage, potatoes, veggies, bread, macaroni and cheese and assorted homemade pies and desserts.

Cost is $10 for adults; $5, ages 4 to 12; free, age 3 and under.

SABATTUS — The Harry J. Conway Post 135, American Legion, 40 Island Road, will hold the monthly Community Fundraising Breakfast from 7:30 to 10 a.m. Sunday, March 3. The breakfast is open to the public.

Menu includes scrambled eggs, eggs to order, French toast, chipped beef, pancakes, sausage, ham, baked beans, two types of country fries, toast, muffins, orange juice, coffee, tea and milk. Cost is $8, adults; $3, children ages 7-10.

Proceeds from the breakfast support community and veterans programs, vveteran rehabilitation, national security, Americanism and children and youth.

March 2019 is the 100th birthday of the American Legion, veterans serving veterans.

MEXICO — A supper will be served at 5 p.m. Saturday, March 9, at the Mexico Congregational Church, UCC, the “Green Church,” 163 Main St. It will be a traditional roast turkey dinner with all the trimmings, including homemade pies. The price is $8 for adults and $3 for children under 12. Take-outs will be available at 5:30; call 207-364-8603.

For those who wish to participate, an auction of whole pies to take home will follow the meal.

FARMINGTON — There will be a free Loaves and Fishes chowder luncheon from 11:30 to 12:30 p.m. Wednesdays through March 27, at Trinity United Methodist Church, 612 Farmington Falls Road.

If there is no school, there will be no luncheon. All are welcome.

FARMINGTON — The Farmington Baptist Church serves free fellowship luncheons at noon on the third Sunday of the month at 194 Whittier Road.

The public is invited to attend lunches presented there on Mondays (except holidays) at 11:30 a.m.

NORWAY — Oxford Hills Area Association of Churches will serve the Norway Community Free Lunch at 11:30 a.m. Wednesdays at the Universalist Church, 479 Main St.

Anyone can eat a nutritious, no questions asked.

SABATTUS — The monthly bean and casserole supper sponsored by Knights of Columbus scheduled for Saturday, March 2, at Our Lady of the Rosary, has been canceled due to the expectation of inclement weather. The suppers will resume on April 6.
