AUBURN — The Center for Workforce & Professional Development at Central Maine Community College, 1250 Turner St., Auburn, will offer a two-session course on how to deal with bullying in the workplace. It will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursdays, Sept. 5 and 19.

The course will provide education and guidance on how to create an environment of zero tolerance for bullying. Upon completion of the course, participants will be able to identify the different types of bullying that can occur in the workplace; describe the difference between a tolerable environment versus a zero tolerance environment; demonstrate a zero tolerance perspective toward bullying; and how to generate ideas toward improving their surroundings to create an environment of change and acceptance.

Cost for this course is $149 and the deadline for registration is Aug. 28.
