LEWISTON (WGME) — Firefighters are investigating what they’re calling a “suspicious” fire at 37 Lincoln Drive.

The fire began Tuesday night and then rekindled around 3:30 a.m. Wednesday.

The home is vacant, though squatters were believed to be inside.

One firefighter was taken to the hospital for evaluation.

The State Fire Marshal’s Office will be investigating the cause.
