LIVERMORE — A meeting will be held Wednesday, July 8, on the municipal budget vote with municipal elections set for July 14.

The informational meeting will be held via Zoom at 6:30 p.m., July 8. Board members will meet in the fire station. The public can join by obtaining the meeting ID number and password on the town calendar on the Livermore website. Questions and comments will be possible during the meeting.

Elections for municipal positions will be held 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 14, during the primary elections. Voting will be at the Spruce Mountain Primary School, 107 Gibbs Mill Road.

Incumbent Selectperson Scott Richmond is unopposed in his quest for another three year term.

Town Clerk Renda Guild is unopposed for the two year term.

Treasurer Amy Byron is seeking another two year term as treasurer. She recently stepped down as Administrative Assistant to the Selectpersons to take a position in Livermore Falls. Byron said she will be able to continue as treasurer if elected.

Guild said there are two openings, each for three years, on the Regional School Unit 73 Board of Directors. Sara Hughes and Andrew Sylvester serve currently but are not running, Guild said.
