LISBON — The town Lisbon is inviting local businesses and community organizations to submit an application to promote their products, programs and services in Moxie Plaza.

Moxie Plaza is at the intersection of Route 196 and Main Street in Lisbon Falls and refers to a roughly 4,000 square feet of community space that is closed to vehicles from roughly July 1 through Labor Day 2020. The plaza is designed to be a safe, multi-use space for outdoor restaurant dining, business opportunities, and other socially distant community gatherings.

Phase 1 of the Moxie Plaza Vendor Pilot Program will occur Thursdays through Saturdays during the second half of July, including July 16, 17, 18, 23, 24, and 25. After July 25, the town will evaluate outcomes, processes, and procedures and make any necessary adjustments prior to continued vendor activities on Main Street.

Information regarding needed business licensing is available at the Town Clerk’s webpage.

For help submitting the application, contact Economic and Community Development Director Brett Richardson at (207) 353-3000. ext. 122 or brichardson@lisbonme.org.
