We had several wild guesses that were wrong and a bunch that were correct, including one from Jeff Harrington from Leeds, who got lost on his way to Rangeley last week and drove down Congress Street in Rumford and recognized last week’s mystery photo. Others, like Pauline Gudas of Lewiston, thought it might be at the First Assembly of God on Hogan Road in Lewiston. In Gudas’ case, some good detective work by her husband revealed it was actually The Praise Assembly of God on Congress Street in Rumford. We had several entrants sing praise for the congregation. Our winner, chosen in a random drawing, is Sue Clark of Mexico, Maine. She noted in her entry that while she is not a member and didn’t take part in the Thanksgiving dinner, she and others are aware that “members of this church reached out to those that need a boost in this uncertain time we all find ourselves in. . . . They distributed complete Thanksgiving dinner items to several families. Yup, even the turkey.”
