01/22/2021 0825hrs, Deputy Frost received a 911 call at a residence on Dads Way in Sandy River Plt. The source of the call was not located.

01/22/2021 0902hrs, Deputy Couture received a request to remove a person from the Pharmacy on Main Street in Kingfield.

01/22/2021 1000hrs, Sgt. Bean responded to a parking lot accident at Edmunds Market in Phillips. John Toothaker (81) of Phillips was driving a 2005 Dodge Durango and attempted to back out of a parking spot when his trailer hitch struck the rear bumper of a 2008 Jeep driven by William Wright (73) of Madrid which was passing behind him. Minor damage was reported.

01/22/2021 1012hrs, Deputy Frost and Lt. Rackliffe assisted animal welfare with a search warrant at a residence on the Swett Road in Wilton where three foals were seized.

01/22/2021 1035hrs, Detective Ken Charles received a DHHS referral regarding a report of a sex crime at a residence on the Ridge Road in Chesterville.

01/22/2021 1127hrs, Deputy Couture assisted Oxford SO in an attempt to locate a person who lived on route 4 in Strong. Negative contact was made.

01/22/2021 1429hrs, Sgt. Bean responded to a 911 call at the “Local Bull” in Phillips, this turned out to be a misdial.

01/22/2021 1456hrs, Deputy Couture assisted Waterville Police with an alleged person threatening suicide at a residence on Iron Bridge Road in Kingfield. The person was not located at the residence.

01/22/2021 1508hrs, Deputy Couture served papers on a person at a residence on Lane Drive in New Vineyard.

01/22/2021 1514hrs, Sgt. Bean responded to a residence on the Pillsbury Road in Strong to assist a family having issues with another family member in distress suffering from Alzheimer’s.

01/23/2021 0734hrs, Sgt. Bean received a 911 call at a residence on the Vienna Road in Chesterville. This turned out to be an accidental dial.

01/23/2021 0805hrs, Deputy Frost conducted a welfare check on an elderly couple in Perkins Twp. where their phone service through TDS has been out for several days.

01/23/2021 0927hrs, Deputy Frost assisted a stranded motorist whose vehicle was leaking fuel on the Wilton Road in Farmington.

01/23/2021 1255hrs, Deputy Frost responded to what turned out to be a civil issue on Earth Way in Carthage. This is an ongoing issue.

01/23/2021 1323hrs, Deputy Couture responded to a report of a late report of a domestic disturbance at an apartment on Dallas Hill Road in Dallas Plt

01/24/2021 0750hrs, Deputy Frost responded to a 911 call at a residence on High Street in Kingfield. This turned out to be an accidental dial when a couple were driving through town.

01/24/2021 0751hrs, Sgt. Bean and Deputy Couture responded to a Dallas Hill Road in Dallas Plt. regarding a follow up of a domestic disturbance that occurred the previous days. As a result of the investigation Michael Ford (50) of Dallas Plt. was arrested for domestic violence assault and transported to jail.

01/24/2021 0909hrs, Deputy Frost responded to a residential alarm at a camp on Fern Forest Lane in weld. This was a false alarm.

01/24/2021 0952hrs, Deputy Frost responded to a 911 call on Diller Line Road in Chesterville. This turned out to be a misdial.

01/24/2021 1132hrs, Deputy Frost investigated a theft complaint at the Laundromat on Main Street in Kingfield.

01/24/2021 1954hrs, Deputy Davol responded to a report of a car vs. moose accident on route 16 between Rangeley and Eustis. Rebecca Hazelton (63) of Eustis was driving a 2016 Subaru when the moose collision occurred.

01/24/2021 2117hrs, Deputy Elmes investigated an online harassment complaint via Facebook at a residence on the Porter Nadeau Road in Eustis.

01/25/2021 0946hrs, Deputy Frost and Sgt. Bean assisted State Police Trooper Barton with reference a call at a residence on the Hovey Road in New Sharon where a family member was concerned for the welfare of relatives there. Upon arrival Troopers and Deputies discovered two bodies inside the residence. State Police Major Crime’s detectives investigated and determined it to be a murder suicide.

01/25/2021 1035hrs, Deputy Couture responded to an alarm at a residence on the Loop Road in Dallas Plt.

01/25/2021 1105hrs, Deputy Couture responded to a complaint of a vehicle with a flat tire off the side of the road on route 4 in Letter E Twp. The vehicle was far enough off the road, the owner was returning on Tuesday to replace the tire.

01/25/2021 1223hrs, Deputy Gray investigated a late report of a crash which occurred at Stratton Elementary School

01/25/2021 1341hrs, Chief Deputy Lowell received a complaint of a logging truck southbound on route 4 from Phillips with a log hanging out the back of the trailer. The truck was not located.

01/25/2021 1535hrs, Deputy Frost received a complaint in New Sharon regarding a dispute between the complainant and a garage owner. This turned out to be civil in nature.

01/26/2021 1617hrs, Deputy Davol conducted a welfare check at a residence on the Reed Road in Salem at the request of a state case manager. He was all okay.

01/26/2021 0353hrs, Deputy McCormick, Deputy Gray, Lt. Rackliffe, and Lt. St. Laurent responded to a residence on Main Street in Carthage to assist Trooper Hardy regarding a report of a robbery where a man stopped by the complainant’s residence asking for help after being robbed. The suspect was located at another residence and a perimeter was established, the suspect came out and spoke with investigators. State police are continuing in the investigation.

01/26/2021 0946hrs, Det. Ken Charles and Lt. St. Laurent assisted State Police with a sex crimes investigation on the Chandler Road in Industry.

01/26/2021 1150hrs, Deputy Morgan responded to a report of a car vs. school bus on Main Street in Strong. Tina Bilodeau (60) of Strong was driving a 2012 School bus northbound on Main Street when a 2020 Subaru driven by Prathusha Yuerramilli (23) of Falmouth pulled out of the driveway of the Strong Health Center without yielding to the bus striking the bus. There was one student on board at the time, no injuries were reported.

01/26/2021 1407hrs, Deputy Morgan responded to a single vehicle accident on the Farmington Road in Strong. Anthony Gage (31) of Phillips was driving a 2002 Jeep grand Cherokee when he became distracted and ran off the road. No injuries were reported, Gage was summonsed for Failing to Maintain Control of a motor vehicle and Operating a motor vehicle while using a mobile device.

01/27/2021 0409hrs, Deputy Morgan received a complaint of a truck stuck on a hill on route 27 in New Vineyard.

01/27/2021 0601hrs, State Police responded to a report of an accident on Mile Hill Road in New Sharon where a pickup was on its side.

01/27/2021 0714hrs, Deputy Morgan received a complaint of a vehicle stuck on route 17 in Letter D Township. The vehicle was removed before Morgan could respond.

01/27/2021 0712hrs, Deputy Gray investigated a report of an accident in the parking lot of the jail.

01/27/2021 0721hrs, Deputy Morgan responded to a report of a tractor trailer stuck on the 10% grade hill north of Smalls Falls.

01/27/2021 0758hrs, Deputy Morgan responded to Cape Cod Hill road in New Sharon were it was reported that two vehicles were off the road. Both were able to recover their vehicles without assistance.

01/27/2021 0934hrs, Deputy Gray investigated an online fraud complaint at a residence on Iverson Heights in Eustis. Someone called the complainant and stated they were from Maine Health and needed pertinent information including their social security number.

01/27/2021 0953hrs, Deputy Gray assisted a motorist with a disabled vehicle on route 27 in Farmington.

01/27/2021 1240hrs, Deputy Gray received a complaint of fraudulent charges on a credit card at a residence on Maple Street in Kingfield.

01/27/2021 1250hrs, Deputy Morgan responded to a 911 complaint at a residence on York Hill Road in New Sharon. The source of the call was not located and occurs frequently in this area.

01/28/2021 0948hrs, Deputy Gray investigated a littering complaint on Lufkin Road in Phillips.

01/28/2021 1246hrs, Deputy McCormick investigated a late report of a domestic disturbance which occurred at a residence on Fox Lane in New Sharon.

01/28/2021 1407hrs, Deputy Morgan responded to a 911 call at a residence on the Adams Road in Chesterville. This was a misdial.

01/28/2021 1835hrs, Deputy Elmes responded to a 911 call at a residence on Main Street in Eustis. This was an accidental dial.

01/29/2021 0937hrs, Deputy Gray received a 911 call from the Saddleback Base Lodge in Sandy River Plt. This turned out to be another accidental dial from a skier.

01/29/2021 1309hrs, Deputy Morgan investigated a report of a gas drive off at Sandy River Farm Supply in New Sharon.

01/29/2021 1332hrs, Chief Deputy Lowell responded to the Strong Area Health Center regarding an alarm that turned out to be false.

01/29/2021 1515hrs, Deputy Gray responded to a report of a 911 call at Phillips Elementary School in Phillips. This turned out to be an accidental dial.

01/29/2021 1541hrs, Deputy Frost investigated a credit card fraud complaint at a residence on the Dixfield Road in Weld.

01/29/2021 1539hrs, Deputy Richards checked on the driver of a tractor trailer that was parked off the Rangeley Road in Avon allegedly since 3am. The driver was away but okay.

01/29/2021 1906hrs, Deputy Frost conducted a welfare check at a residence on Iisalo Road in Temple. The person he was looking for was not there.

01/29/2021 2236hrs, Deputy Couture responded to a 911 call on Eustis Ridge Road in Eustis. This was an accidental dial.

Deputies conducted 48 building checks and all were secure. Six elder checks were conducted.
