Aubrey L. Coffin
AUBURN – Aubrey L. Coffin, 88, of Poland passed away on Thursday, Jan. 28, 2021, at the Hospice House. He was born on Dec. 19, 1932, the son of the late George B. and Orma “Lola” Coffin and was educated in Mechanic Falls schools before serving in the U.S. Army in Korea.
He married Dorothy C. Chipman in 1952 in Poland Spring. He worked many years for the Poland Telephone Co. and later doing home repair.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, flying, snowmobiling and spending time at their summer camp with his family on Upper Range Pond.
Bob was predeceased by his wife, Dorothy on June 23, 2017; his brothers, Lewis, George, Maynard and Stanley; his sisters, Elnora, Hazel, Elizabeth and Grace.
He is survived by his son, Bruce; sister, Donna; and many nieces and nephews. Bob was a very helpful friend to all that knew him well. He will be missed by many.
At Bob’s request there will be no services.
