Oscar X. Hebert

LEWISTON – Oscar X. Hebert, 87, of Dixfield peacefully passed away on Friday Feb. 12, 2021, at CMMC in Lewiston with his loving family by his side.

He was born in Caribou on Aug. 18, 1933, a son of the late Edward and Margaret (LaBell) Hebert. He grew up in Caribou and attended local schools. He was a graduate of Caribou High School.

He will always be remembered for his love of baseball, football and spending quality time with his family at any type of gathering they had. He was known as a “Jack of all trades” always tinkering around and working on various projects. He was very proud of his family members and could often be found bragging about them to any person that he came in contact with. He was an active member in the American Legion. He will be sadly missed.

He is survived by his three children; Tim Hebert, Lucinda Ryder and Thomas Hebert and two of his sisters, Louise Pike and Phyllis Brown. He also leaves behind his seven grandchildren and his 13 great-grandchildren.
