The Franklin County Animal Shelter has announced the Pets of the Week. The shelter is doing their part to control the spread of COVID-19 and will be closed to walk-ins and limiting community contact until further notice. They will continue offering adoptions by appointment. Please call us at 207-778-2638. The shelter is located at 550 Industry Road, Farmington. They currently do not have any dogs available for adoption. Mavis is the Cat of the Week.
Mavis is a senior female and has this to say: “Hello there deary. My name is Mavis. I am a very sweet older gal who is very overwhelmed by my new surroundings here at the shelter, but I am a sweetheart. I love attention and being doted on. I’d love to find a quiet home to spend the remainder of my golden years.”
