Richard Joseph Dubois

LEWISTON – Richard Joseph Dubois, 80, passed away peacefully at D’Youville Pavilion in the early morning hours on Saturday, Feb. 27, 2021, with his daughter, Laurie and granddaughter, Kerri, by his side.

He was born on Aug. 22, 1940, in St. Agatha, Maine. He was employed at PepsiCo for over 40 years.

He often went above and beyond for his family, neighbors and coworkers.

Richard enjoyed hunting in Sumner, Maine, as well as snowmobiling and fishing. He also enjoyed outings at local dance halls on weekends.

He is survived by his sister, Salonge Berube and husband Chuck of Auburn, sister, Meille of Lisbon, daughter, Patricia Dubois of Sabattus, daughter, Laurie Collins of Greene and grandkids, Joey, Brittany, Kerri and husband Farshid and great-granddaughter, Julia Collins.

He was predeceased by his father, Levite Dubois, mother, Cecile Guerette and his companion, Irene Bingelis.

His family would like to thank the staff on 3E at D’Youville for their care for Richard over the past several years.

A Memorial Mass honoring Richard’s life will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 9, 2021, at 11 a.m., at the Pinette Dillingham and Lynch Funeral Home. Committal services will then be held later in the spring at Riverside Cemetery.

A memorial gathering will be held on Monday, March 8, 2021, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., at the Pinette Dillingham and Lynch Funeral Home 305 Alfred A. Plourde Parkway in Lewiston 784-4023.

In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Richard can be made to the residents activities fund at D’Youville Pavilion.
