Ronald Loring McDonald

JAY – Ronald Loring McDonald, 54, a resident of Jay, passed away Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at his home. He was born May 4, 1966, in Colorado Springs, Colo., the son of Robert Wayne and Marilyn Doris (Seeds) McDonald, Sr.

Ronald was a 1984 graduate of Livermore Falls High School. Over the years Ron worked in construction. A member of The Crash Road Band, playing lead and bass guitar, Ron really enjoyed playing and writing his own music. Ron also enjoyed reading, collecting swords, and was a Golden Glove Boxer. He had a great love for animals.

He is survived by his mother, Marilyn McDonald of Livermore Falls; his stepchildren, Jake and Morgan; his brother, Robert McDonald Jr. and wife Eileen of North Anson; his nephew, Cole Robert McDonald of Anson; his aunts, Loretta Webber and husband Mike, Pam Ashcroft and Betty Calden and husband Harvey and his uncles, John, Harold and Ricky Wilson. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Ollie and Carol Wilson and Loring and Hazel Seeds; his father, Robert McDonald, Sr. and his uncle, Carol Wilson.
