To the Editor:

What has happened to people helping people? We were having lunch at Friendly’s in South Portland on Sunday. We looked out and a couple had a flat tire, no-one was stopping to help them at all everyone kept driving by.

My son Garrett Haslett who is a Eagle Scout went out to help and get them on his way, he was my hero for stepping up and helping.
