Lewiston defender Brie Dube and St. Dominic Academy/Winthrop/Gray-New Gloucester defender Gisele Ouellette are two of the four finalists for the fourth annual Becky Schaffer Award.

The finalists for the award, which is the girls hockey equivalent to the Class A boys hockey Travis Roy Award and is bestowed annually to the most outstanding senior hockey player in Maine by the Maine High School Girls Hockey Association, were unveiled Saturday.

Cheverus forward Lucia Pompeo and Portland/Deering forward Caroline Lerch are the other finalists.

The winner will be announced Wednesday. Previous winners were Courtney Sullivan of Greely/Gray-New Gloucester in 2018, Avery Lutrzykowski of St. Dom’s in 2019 and Maranda Guimond of Edward Little/Leavitt/Poland in 2020.
