WISCASSET – Bruce Alan O’Donal passed away March 9, 2021, at the age of 68.
He was born in Waterville Jan. 12, 1953. Bruce attended and graduated from Westbrook High School in 1971. After working various jobs in his 20s he started his own commercial painting business. That evolved to landscaping, restoration, and small carpentry jobs and lasted over 40 years.
Bruce, lovingly known as Pops, had an adventurous spirit and vivacious personality. He was loved by many and treated everyone like a friend. He loved gardening, music, working on classic cars, hunting, but most of all he loved to make people laugh.
He is predeceased by his mother Anna M. O’Donal and stepfather Philip J. Cormier. His siblings, Raymond O’Donal and Sherry Davis. Beloved son, Eric Allred and best friend, Russell Greenlaw. He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Lucy O’Donal. His children, Bruce and wife Beth O’Donal, Jennifer and husband Russell Hatheway, Roxanne and husband David Flick, Dustin O’Donal, Phillip Allred, Mariah O’Donal, Brian Wilson Jr. Grandchildren, Nikayla, Taylor, and Brayden O’Donal, Austin Thomas, Ariana and Kayla Clark, Niveah Allred, Grady and Gavin O’Donal, Kirnan Shaw, and Lilliana Marshall. Great granddaughter Lilith Thomas. Siblings Lois LaFargue, Richard O’Donal, Donna Felpel, Micheal O’Donal, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A celebration of life will be announced by the family at a later date.
