Valentina is not shy. She knows how to make friends quickly. She waits for someone to walk by her kennel and when they are near she gives a little meow to call them closer.
Valentina is also very skilled at getting her head rubbed. She butts her head against her kennel door until she convinces the person that is standing there to scratch her head.
This pretty, two-year-old cat is a brown tabby that knows exactly how to get her own way. She will be the cat that steps into her new home and makes it feel like she has always been a part of the family.
Responsible Pet Care of Oxford Hills is a no-kill, non-profit shelter and adoption center for cats and dogs, and the holding area for stray dogs for 12 towns in Oxford County. The shelter is located at 9 Swallow Road in Paris.
Anyone interested in adopting a pet from RPC can visit the shelter as follows: Monday and Tuesday closed; Wednesday and Thursday noon to 4 p.m.; Friday and Saturday noon to 5 p.m.; Sunday noon to 4 p.m.
