NOTE: Due to current spikes in COVID cases, the 2021 Waterford Fall Foliage Road Race, Walk, Fun Run, and Chili Cook-Off has been canceled. The primary focus of the Waterford 5K Race Committee is always Safety First. A great deal of planning goes into race day, so we waited until now to make the hard decision.

The committee remains committed to giving out scholarships to all Waterford high school graduates who apply. We are grateful for all our loyal sponsors and friends. Your donations have helped make so many dreams possible.  This year, any and all contributions to the Tony Waldeier Scholarship fund will be greatly appreciated.

The 22nd annual Waterford Fall Foliage 5K Road Race/Fitness Walk and 1 Mile Fun Run is scheduled for Oct. 10 at Waterford Flats, Route 35/37.

Free entries are offered this year for the Fun Run event for children 12 and younger. The road race/fitness walk entry fees are $20 for early registration and $25 on race day.

The fun run will begin at 11:30 a.m., followed at noon by the race/walk.

There is plenty of parking within walking distance of the registration table and start line.

The event has allowed the Tony Waldeier Scholarship Fund to give more than $74,000 since 2000 to 101 students. Even though the race was cancelled in 2020, six $1,000 scholarships went to Waterford Memorial School graduates. There are already six new applicants, and this year’s deadline is Monday, April 26.
