Sandra Gagnon Young
LEWISTON/AUBURN – Sandra Gagnon Young, 69, a lifelong resident of the Lewiston/Auburn area passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 21, 2021, at Edgewood Rehab in Farmington.
She was born Dec. 30, 1951, in Lewiston. She was the daughter of the late Maurice Gagnon and Marilyn Gagnon.
In July 1972, she married Leonard Young. Their love for each other was amazing to witness. They were often seen walking all over the L/A area together. Leonard passed away in 2013 and Sandra never really got over that loss.
She was predeceased by her husband, Leonard, her dad, Maurice and nephew, Joey Gagnon.
Sandra is survived by her mother, brothers: Michael Hodgkins of Lewiston, Richard LaCroix, Maurice Gagnon ll; sisters, Jeanette Gagnon, Paulette Woods all of New Gloucester, and Lisa Curtis of Auburn; many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, in-laws, and friends.
Sandra is also survived by Wanda Theobald of Winslow, who has looked after her since her husband passed away.
Her beautiful smile will be missed by all.
There will be a graveside service on Tuesday, April 27, at 1p.m., at Gracelawn Memorial Park in Auburn.
