CANTON, N.Y. — Stephanie Nicols of Rumford has been inducted into St. Lawrence University’s chapter of the Chi Alpha Sigma honor society. She is recognized for being an outstanding college student-athlete who excels in the classroom, in her sport, and in the community.
A member of the class of 2022, Nicols plans to major in sociology. She attended Gould Academy in Bethel, and is a member of the Nordic skiing team at the university.
Students are nominated for inclusion in the society by their head coaches for their contributions to their team, for their moral character, and for having achieved a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.4 or higher.
