Sheryl M. Storer

JAY – Sheryl M. Storer, 68, of Jay, passed away May 1, 2021, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Lewiston. She was born Nov. 1, 1952, in Lewiston, the daughter of Ronald W. and Helen L. (Stackhouse) Beckler. She graduated from Livermore Falls High in 1971 and went on to work as many things over the years. She worked at a shoe shop, a wood turning mill, and as a CNA and Med. Tech. in a nursing home. Her favorite job by far was tending bar at the Jay VFW. Her extremely social nature fit perfectly in this job and she loved the many friends she made over the years. Sheryl also enjoyed knitting and crocheting, playing cribbage and spending time with friends and family at the camper at Riverbend Campground in Leeds. Her constant smile and cheerful greetings will be greatly missed. She is survived by her son, Richard Seilonen and fiance Melissa, of South Paris, her brother, David and wife Connie of Livermore, her sister, Susan Moras and significant other, Bruce Webster of Livermore. Five grandchildren: Alexis, Sheyanne, Richard Jr., Elizabeth and Emily. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.Sheryl was predeceased by her parents, a son, Derek and a brother, Daniel Beckler. A graveside memorial service will be held at the Birchland Cemetery in N. Jay on Thursday May 13, 2021 at 1 p.m. COVID-19 guidelines will be observed.
