All Maine residents over 16 years old are now eligible for COVID 19 vaccinations, and It’s very exciting how easy it is to get a vaccination these days – some without a prior appointment. AFCI/ Telstar Interact Handy Neighbor Day June 5: students will get community service credit by performing your spring outdoor chores (to request student help: 824-4444).
The next Community Supper at the Bethel Alliance Church is on Wednesday, May 26, 4:30-6:00. Go to the church parking lot; meals are delivered to your car. If you cannot drive yourself, AFCI can deliver your food – call 824-4444 at least two days ahead.
The Bethel Library has announced new hours: Monday and Wednesday, 9:00-1:00 and Tuesday and Thursday, noon-5:00. Maine CDC protocol will be followed: masks are mandatory to enter, maximum 3 patrons at one time. 15 minutes stay time. During these same hours you may also visit the book shed, where patrons may purchase hardcover books for 1$ and paperbacks for $.50.
