Becoming an Outdoors Woman (BOW), Sunday,  May 23, 2021  – 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., Bryant Pond, Maine. Registration fee:$95

Join a group of females and learn a new outdoor hobby, or increase your current knowledge and skills! BOW has introduced thousands of women to the outdoors and to new activities.

Spring workshops include turkey hunting tactics, map and compass, fishing tricks and tips, shotgun shooting, wild edibles, archery skills, saltwater surf casting, canoeing, and more!

SustainME Spring Program, Sunday,  June 6, 2021  –  9 a.m. – 4 p.m., Open to ALL adults, Bryant Pond, Maine . Registration fee: $95

Interested in learning to be more self-reliant and securing your own sustainable food sources? Choose your track – foraging and gathering, backyard farming, or hunting and fishing – and sign up for SustainME, a program designed in partnership with MDIFW and the University of Maine 4-H Camp and Learning Center at Bryant Pond. You will gain the knowledge, self-confidence, and practical skills to get started.

Spring sessions include spring foraging, basic shotgun shooting, gardening, raising dairy goats, casting, wild game cooking, deer and waterfowl hunting, mushroom growing and cultivation, and more!
