What am I missing?

In the 2020 election, the Republican Party failed to put out a platform to help us all decide if we agreed with it or not. Nonetheless, 73 million Americans voted for Republican state legislators, thus putting them in full control over 23 states.

Those states are now proposing and passing bills to keep people from voting.

They believe the “Big Lie” that our system of voting is flawed and Mr. Trump remains the president.

In their efforts to get Trump re-elected, Republican Speaker Mitch McConnell and GOP House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy have attempted to block President Biden’s entire agenda, including the American Rescue Plan so beneficial to millions of Americans. Others, like Sen. Rand Paul, tried to discredit CDC recommendations in the fight against COVID-19.

No platform, voter suppression, and the obstruction of Congress leaves me mystified how the Republican Party considers that its efforts contribute to the growth of our country and its citizens.

What am I missing?
