Hathorne
NEW GLOUCESTER – Donna Jean Hathorne, 70, passed away peacefully on May 21, 2021 at home with family by her side after a long battle with lung disease.
She was born on April 9, 1951 to Ralph and Vivian Hodgdon.
Donna was well known for her outgoing personality and the many years of working at Roy’s All Steak Hamburgers in Auburn.
Donna enjoyed spending time with her family baking desserts, and being outside watching the birds with her husband, Bart Hathorne.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Bart Hathorne of New Gloucester, their children, Tony Hathorne and his wife Ruby Millett Hathorne of Auburn, Todd Hathorne and his wife Jessica Lavoie Hathorne of Auburn; grandchildren Anthony Hathorne, Amber Hathorne, her fiancé Travis Work, Hunter Hathorne, and great-grandson, Jackson White as well as many close friends who had become family to her.
She was predeceased by her parents, Ralph and Vivian Hodgdon.
She will be lovingly missed by family, friends and coworkers forever.
The family will host a celebration of life sometime in the future in memory of Donna.
