Maxine J. Cram

NORWAY – Maxine J. Cram, 89, of West Paris, passed away on Friday May 28, 2021, at Norway Rehab, she was born Sept. 13, 1931, a daughter of the late Arlene (Rogers) Farr and Raymond Farr Sr.

In 1950 she married Stanley H. Cram. She was a loving wife, devoted mother and grandmother to her loving family. She worked many years for Doctor Nagel as his housekeeper and watched many area children. Her greatest joys were spending time with her family, camping at Cathedral Pines, dancing, ceramics and crocheting.

Maxine was predeceased by her husband, Stanley, her parents, Raymond and Arlene Farr, a devoted son, Terry Cram, a sister, Marion Farr, and her brother, Raymond Farr Jr.

Maxine is survived by her son, Arnold Cram and wife Sandy, daughter-in-law, Georgia Cram, sister, Ruth Hazelton, and grandchildren, Amy Fox, husband Troy, Bobbi Jo Clark, Alicia Cram, Adam Cram, wife Leanne and Andy Cram, wife, Christina. She also leaves behind several great-grandchildren.

The family will greet friends and family on Thursday June 3, 2021, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., at Chandler Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, 45 Main St., South Paris followed by a service at 12 p.m., noon, with Reverend Greg Morgan officiating. Interment will follow at the Wayside Cemetery in West Paris. For those who cannot attend the service it will be live streamed through Maxine’s obituary on our website.
