Richard “Rick” E. Cleaves
DOVER FOXCROFT – Richard “Rick” E. Cleaves, 57, of Gibbs Mill Road, died Saturday, May 29, 2021, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. He was born in Derry N.H., on Jan. 20, 1964, a son of the late Carl and Rita (Lee) Cleaves.Rick married his true love, the former Sue Holland on March 27, 1982. They lived in Lisbon for several years where they were able to raise two beautiful daughters and most recently they have moved to Livermore. Rick was an Electrician for many years working with A & D Electric for most of his years, and most recently working for Moulison. He was a hard worker and loved his job and the many friends he made throughout the years.Rick enjoyed being on his motorcycle, watching Nascar racing, collecting diecast, and working on his antique car. He truly enjoyed and looked forward to ice fishing with Matt and Jim, spending time with his family and cherished every minute he spent with his granddaughter that he called “Boo Bear”.Rick leaves his wife of 39 years, Sue Cleaves of Livermore. His two daughters, Heather Cleaves of Lisbon, Staci Cleaves and partner Rob Addison of Leeds, a granddaughter, Kya, and a nephew and niece, Ben and Deanna of Littleton, N.H., and leaves behind several brother and sister-in-laws that he considered family for 39 years.He was predeceased by a brother, Tom Cleaves.You are invited to offer condolences and pay tribute to Richard’s life by visiting his guest book at http://www.thefortingroupauburn.comA memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, June 5, from 4-7 p.m., at The Fortin Group Auburn.
