Mary Ann “Marie” Gallant
AUBURN – Mary Ann “Marie” Gallant of Auburn passed away May 28, 2021 surrounded by family. She was born Nov. 22, 1940.Marie made friends everywhere she went. She loved dancing, music, the Red Sox, traveling, Alan Jackson, bingo, baking, and most of all her family. Family and friends would describe her as the life of the party, caring, and inspiring.Originally from Canada daughter of Emma and Elois Roy Marie was one of 13. She worked most famously at Denny’s in Auburn as the Sun Journal once captioned her, as the Hostess with the Mostess.Marie was the proud mother of three, grandmother of six and great-grammie of six, though many others thought of her as part of the family.Marie was a woman who loved life, followed her dreams, and did as wanted, got to dance on stage with Alan Jackson to the song remember when, it’s on YouTube.Marie will be dearly missed.
