Maybe it’s because we haven’t been on the road much in the last 15 months or maybe reckless, aggressive or impaired driving really is on the rise. Or maybe it’s something else entirely, but one thing’s for sure: There has been a car or motorcycle crash almost every day this past month in Maine.

We want to hear about your experiences on the road. Have you felt unsafe driving, more than you did before the pandemic? Are you more cautious? Or did you have an entirely different experience — have the relatively empty roads and highways during lockdown given you license to speed or drive in ways you hadn’t previously?

Staff writer Emily Bader wants to hear from you. Email her at ebader@sunjournal.com about your experience driving in Maine this past year.
