LEWISTON — Maine-based organization Up With Community, which helps businesses build learning and professional development programs, has released a free online Ideas to Action Field Guide.

The guide is packed with hundreds of resources to help organizations design the most effective learning and growth projects. It’s broken into seven pathways, with each one being a route designed to take visitors through a step of the process of adult learning and transformation. The resources provided can help a team learn to collaborate more effectively, bring innovation to their projects, or explore dynamics of equity, power and identity in their work.

Pathway 1, titled Preparing for Change, is all about the actions people can take to ready their minds and bodies for lasting, systemic change, while Pathway 3, Analysis: Power, looks at how power functions at the personal and societal level and offers suggestions for how to build equity.

The field guide is available at https://upwithcommunity.org/ideas-to-action/.
