David L. Yeaton

PARIS – David L. Yeaton, 82, of South Pairs, formerly of Mechanic Falls, died on Wednesday June 16, 2021 at the Androscoggin Hospice House in Auburn. He was born in Auburn on August 26, 1938, the son of Laura Newton Nay and Harry Yeaton. He graduated from Mechanic Falls High School. He married Wanita Winslow on Dec. 19, 1959. He worked for Palmer Construction for many years. Then worked for GA Downing as a driver and ended up retiring with them. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and working on cars in his off time. Also enjoyed trying his luck with scratch tickets. Mr. Yeaton is survived by his daughter, Carol Lovejoy and her husband Scott and their daughter Nicole and her fiance Nick; daughter, Lori Stetson and her husband John and their daughters Stephanine and Mandy; a son, David and his son Cameron; his sister, Marlene Roy, his sister, Barbara Barton and her husband Dick, his sister, Cathrine Gallant and her husband Phil; also several nieces and nephews; and friends.He was predeceased by his wife, Wanita; his granddaughter, Talyor; and his best friends Buzz and Donna Palmer. Family and friends may attend a celebration of life on a later date.
