Robert L. Schnopp
GREENE – Robert L. Schnopp Jr., 59, of 7 Sawyer Rd., Greene, died May 14, 2021, at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston.
Born in Portland on April 29, 1962, he was the son of Robert and Marion Schnopp Sr. Educated in Maine schools, he spent most of his adult life working with developmental disabled people, and for the last seven years he worked at Disney World in Florida.
Bob loved spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed trips to the ocean and eating clams. He enjoyed playing bingo, metal detecting and crafts. He was a lifelong fan of the Red Sox, Bruins and New England Patriots. He was no longer a supporter of Tom Brady after he left the Patriots.
He enjoyed his birds and spending the last seven years living in Florida, and viewed his children and grandchildren as his greatest accomplishment.
Survivors include three sons, Robert III and wife Kate, Christopher and wife Danielle, and Dylan; siblings Robin, John, and Nick Schnopp; and three grandchildren, Julian, Tucker, and Juliette Schnopp.
He was predeceased by his parents.
