The Table, located at 160 Main Street, has a busy month planned for July with the Weekly Free clothing give away, free breakfast (Norway Grange), recovery groups and kayaking on area bodies of water.

The Table’s free clothing is changing in July and August to Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 1-5 p.m. There will be a variety of clothing available for both genders and many sizes. The Table is located at 160 Main St. in Norway (across the road from the hospital). Staff will be on hand to help customers find specific clothing to aid in an efficient flow through the building.

The Table’s HOGs (Healthy Outdoor Group) will continue kayaking in July. Please follow The Table’s Facebook page for schedules. The HOG’s is a group of people enjoying the beautiful state of Maine and sharing it with others. The group is not a professional group. HOG’s are accepting donations of kayaks or monitory donations towards the purchase of kayaks. Tentative Schedule for July:

July 4: (12 p.m.) North, Round and South Ponds in Bryant Pond (meet at 112 Rocky Rd.) Double up if possible; limited parking. 12- 4 p.m. Continental Shakedown Band playing under Bucks Ledge.

July 6: (5:30 p.m.) Highland Lake, Bridgton (Tuesday)

July 11: (1 p.m.) Virginia Lake, Stoneham. Plenty of parking.

July 15: (5:30 p.m.) Long Lake, Harrison (Thursday)

July 18: (1 p.m.) Moose Pond, N. Paris off Rt. 219.

July 20: (5:30 p.m.) Little Pond, Otisfield (Off 117) (Tuesday)

July 25: (1 p.m.) Pleasant Pond, Sumner

July 28: (5:30 p.m.) Keoka Lake, Waterford (Wednesday)

Limited extra kayaks are available for those who need one. Reserve ahead of time and we’ll meet you at the water. Life Jackets required.

The Table continues to offer free drive by breakfasts on the second, third and fourth Saturdays at 9 a.m. at the Norway Grange on Whitman St. in Norway. The Table is always interested in other teams who would like to take a Saturday and serve breakfast.

The Table is an organization made up of people from the Bolsters Mills United Methodist Church, The Norway Grange and community members. The mission of the Table is to meet the needs of the community by offering healthy and safe programs for the people in the community.
