HARTFORD, Conn. – Lloyd N. Roberts Sr., 87, of East Hartford Conn. died Friday June 25, 2021 at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford, Conn.

He was born in Portland on July 10, 1933, a son of the late James and Mary (Bard) Roberts. After school, Lloyd proudly served his country in the U.S. Marines. He married the former Theresa Perella on August 16, 1957. Lloyd was a machine operator for many different construction companies throw-out his working career.

He is survived by his wife, Theresa Roberts of Connecticut; a daughter, Mary Ann Durepo of Massachusetts, three sons, Lloyd N. Roberts Jr. and his wife Sophie of Connecticut, Joseph J. Roberts of Connecticut and Michael A. Roberts of Connecticut; two sisters, Martha Shorette and Margret Frizzel; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
