OTISFIELD — Otisfield officials have received numerous calls over the last several months about property on Route 117, right at the Norway town line, that has been clear cut.

The 12-acre parcel is owned by A-1 Properties, LLC, which is listed with a post office box address in South Paris. Attorney David Dow of Norway is the agent for the limited liability corporation. Dow was unable to comment on plans A-1 Properties may have in the future.

According to Anne Pastore, administrative and assessor’s assistant with Otisfield, the property has no open permits with the town. She said that resident inquiries prompted Codes Officer Fred Collins Jr. to investigate the project with Maine’s forestry department, which stated that A-1 Properties had filed a logging plan and followed it appropriately.
