A strong pitching performance by Brandon Farinas led Pastime Club to a 10-0 American Legion victory over Charlie’s Family of Dealerships in five innings Thursday in Lewiston.
Farinas struck out six batters on 50 pitches while only giving up two hits in the complete-game win.
Pastime (7-1) took a quick four-run lead in a first inning that featured Damon Bossie driving in a run with a ground-rule double. A two-out, two-run single Keegan McLaughlin in the fourth added to Pastime’s advantage. Luke Josephson, Patrick Anthoine and Michael Dymkoski each scored two runs in the game.
