NORWAY — There are two parts to our summer reading program:
Children through age 12 may sign up for the reading portion in the Children’s Room. For registration they will get a book bag, a collectible badge, a lanyard for collecting reading badges, and a voucher for a ticket to a Portland Sea Dogs baseball game!
This year’s summer reading goal for all participants is to read at least 20 minutes a day. Track those 20 minutes on the reading record that you will pick up when you register. Check in at the library on a weekly basis, and bring your reading record. Earn a badge to add to
your lanyard and select a free book for each week completed.
Family programming is geared for children ages 6-12 years, but all are welcome.
In-person programs will be held outside on the front lawn at the library and are weather dependent.
Virtual programs are online and will be held rain or shine.
