AUBURN — Jerry Schneider, creator of the award-winning Butterfly Game, is to talk about local butterflies — including the largest group, the swallowtails — at 11 a.m. Friday, July 30.
The talk takes place at Auburn Public Library at 49 Spring St.
Audiences also can learn about the monarch butterfly and its migration to Mexico. In addition to sharing butterfly characteristics Schneider will bring displays of butterflies and moths, cocoons, and caterpillars.
The second half of the program is a T-shirt craft; participants are asked to bring a solid, light colored T-shirt if you have one. The library will have T-shirts in limited sizes.
For more information, call the library at 207-333-6640, ext. 3.
