Augusta musician Ben, the Maker, will release a new music video for the song “Worth It?”, featuring Nikki Hunt, at 12 a.m. on Thursday, July 29, on Youtube, Facebook, and Instagram. Ben’s latest album, “Adoration,” which includes “Worth It?”, will be released simultaneously on streaming platforms.
The video features an epic squirt gun battle at Deb’s Ice Cream and Mini Golf in Randolph and vocals at Palace Playland in Old Orchard Beach.
Ben, the Maker is the creator of last summer’s “A to the U” music video about Augusta. Nikki Hunt is best known for her past group The Nikki Hunt Band and for her professional hooping act. Hunt is featured on the song – representing her debut into original music.
Ben and Nikki previously performed together in the Nikki Hunt Band but they had a falling out and had not spoken in 7 years. This song and video represent the rebuilding of their working relationship and is a light-hearted piece of art about forgiveness.
