PARIS — On August 19 at 7 p.m., the Paris Cape Historical Society will hold its monthly meeting at the museum at 77 High Street, South Paris. The featured speaker will be Maine State Trooper Percy Turner, well known Paris resident.

The topic of his presentation will center around the first 100 years of the Maine State Police. Come early, as Percy is bringing his classic Maine State vehicle for viewing on the front lawn.

He will be dressed in his 1940’s uniform to share the most interesting program mixed with plenty of human life accounts of humor. It will be a night of enjoyment. Come one, come all. Refreshments will be served following the meeting. Parking is available behind the museum.
