Eric H. Edgecomb
PORT HAYWOOD, Va. – Eric H. Edgecomb, 51, of Port Haywood, Virginia, passed away on Monday, December 21, 2020. A native of Maine, Eric was a US Army veteran who believed there is nothing more important than faith, family, and country. He spent his career as a civil servant, first for the US Air Force, and then for the US Navy. Eric used his leadership and mentoring skills to supervise firearms instructors. In his spare time, he enjoyed history, making custom holsters, and his family pets.
Eric is survived by his wife, Chantal Edgecomb; son, Wyatt Edgecomb; daughter, Seneca Edgecomb; his mother, Beverly Wellman; and sisters, Eli Edgecomb and Heather Wellman.
A graveside service with military honors will take place at the “New” Maine Veterans Cemetery, 163 Mt. Vernon Road, Augusta, ME 04330, on Wednesday, August 11, at 2 p.m.
