Beverly Ann Collins
FARMINGTON – Beverly Ann Collins, 87, of Farmington, Maine, died on Friday, Aug. 6, 2021, at her home following a long illness. She was born on Aug. 4, 1934, in Wilton, the daughter of Wilfred and Tekla (Rodzen) Wagner. She attended schools in Wilton and graduated from Wilton Academy in 1952. She also graduated from Husson College, Bangor, Maine studying Secretarial Sciences. In May 1953 she married Keith L. Collins of Wilton. They made their home in Farmington since 1960. Beverly retired from her job as Administrative Assistant in the Visual and Performing Arts Department at the University of Maine at Farmington in 1996. Over the years, Bev enjoyed picnics all around the state, boating, family croquet in the back yard and Saturday night dinners out with Keith.
She is survived by her husband, Keith, of 68 years; son, Stephen and his wife Cheryl of Venice, Florida; son, Scott and his wife Melanie of Gardiner; grandsons, Mathew, Benjamin, Shawn, Brian; granddaughter, Danielle; sister-in-law, Irene Wagner of Colorado Springs, Colorado; sister-in-law, Betty Levesque of Farmington; niece, Amy Hanrahan, her husband Jeff, and their son Christopher and his wife Felicia and their daughter Ariana; and daughter, Jenna of Farmington; nephew, Kevin Levesque of Hampton, N.H.; and niece, Lisa Milne and her husband Peter and their son, Jack of Tucson, Arizona; many cousins.
She was predeceased by her parents; brother, Lauriston Wagner; brother-in-law, John Levesque; grandson, Anthony Little; and many wonderful aunts, uncles and cousins.
There will be a private graveside service at a later date at Lakeview Cemetery, Wilton, Maine. Out of an abundance of concern for the Covid -19 variant, and for those with compromised immune systems, her family requests everyone wear a mask, which will be provided.
